Bugatti opens its showroom in Poland!

As you may know, I am a big fan of luxury cars, so I was extremely pleased to hear that the Pietrzak Group would be responsible for opening the first Bugatti dealership in Poland, especially as they are friends of mine.

The first Polish Bugatti showroom will be built in Katowice. For the Pietrzak Group, it will be another luxury brand in a portfolio that already includes Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani and Koenigsegg. The showroom will be accompanied by an authorised service centre – which will undoubtedly please owners of the brand’s cars, who have so far had to have their cars serviced outside Poland.

At this point it is worth mentioning that, although Bugatti has not had an official representation to date, cars of the brand have been driving on Polish roads for years. In fact, Poland’s ties with Bugatti began as far back as the inter-war period – top drivers of the time used Bugatti machines such as the Type 35, 43 or 44 when competing in the famous Tatra Race or the Lvov Grand Prix.

Moje favourite Bugattis

And while we’re writing about Bugatti, I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t do a brief review of my favourite cars from the brand. Here they are!

Bugatti Chiron

Acceleration 0-100: 2,5 s.

Top speed: 420 km/h

This is the car that followed the Veyron. The Chiron is not only phenomenally pretty, but also infernally fast. And that top speed… yes, I know that in Poland there is nowhere to get up to these 400 km/h, but you can always dream.

Bugatti Veyron

Acceleration 0-100: 2,5 s.

Top speed: 430 km/h

Elder brother of the Chiron and once the fastest car in the world allowed on public roads. Only 450 examples of this car were produced, but each one is a veritable work of art.

Bugatti Centodieci

Acceleration 0-100: 2,4 s.

Top speed: 380 km/h (electronically limited)

The Centodieci has about 100 hp more power than the Chiron. Under the bonnet (actually a glass lid) you will find an 8.0-litre W16 unit with 1,600 hp. Interestingly, the car is around 20 kg lighter than the Chiron – you can see that great thought has been given to design in the service of performance. This is an anniversary model produced for the brand’s 11th birthday limited to 110 cars.
