I have not written anything about airplanes for a long time, since times are not particularly favourable to travel. However, there are some people who can still fly essentially unhindered. I am talking about those who are lucky enough to have their own jet. For them, the travel options are still unlimited (provided, of course, they meet all pandemic requirements). That’s why today I have short descriptions of three planes for you, which – in my opinion – are perfect as private jets.
A flagship vessel (actually, an aircraft) in the Gulfstream offer. Not only luxurious, but also with great flight parameters. Its range is over 7,500 miles (over 12,000 km), which means that this aircraft can cover the entire Pacific Ocean in one flight. Moreover, it is a very fast machine – in 2017, one of these aircraft made the route New York – Tokyo (11,000 km) in 12 hours and 40 minutes. The maximum cruising altitude is 15,500 m.
One thing that sets apart this jet differs from its competition is the fact that all in-cab settings (temperature, light, blinds and in-flight entertainment) can be controlled via the phone app. In the “tightest” version, it takes 19 passengers on board.
Bombardier Global 7500
Bombardier 7 500 is a model that appeared on the market in December 2018. It has a speed of Mach 0.925 and has an amazing range – up to 14,260 km. The spacious 16.5 m long cabin won the Red Dot Design Award. In 2018, it was also the largest business jet (33.9 m long, 16.64 m long cabin).
The Bombardier 7 500 can accommodate 17 passengers, who have 4 zones at their disposal: the main bedroom with a shower, a dining room for 6 people, a full-size galley (i.e. a kitchen) and a lounge area with on-board entertainment.
In terms of performance, the great advantage of this aircraft is its low emissions and economical engines.
Embraer Phenom 300E
Hardly anyone remembers, but one of the pioneers of aviation was Aleberto Santos-Dumont – a Brazilian, who in 1898 made the first controlled flight in something like an airplane. It can therefore be said that the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer is firmly rooted in the aviation tradition and it should come as no surprise that more than 8,000 aircraft of this brand have left the production line to date.
Embraer Phenom 300 is one of the biggest bestsellers when it comes to light jets, and the Embrear Phenom 300E (where the letter E stands for enhanced) is the latest emanation of the popular jet.
The cabin is spacious and has plenty of natural light, allowing the passenger to fly in really comfortable conditions. In addition, from the model marked as E, the interior version known as Bossa Nova is available. The plane is equipped with the highest class avionics, so it can be operated by one pilot. The maximum speed is 834 km / h, and the range is 3,723 km. And forget about the long runways – this machine takes less than a kilometer to take off and only 674 meters to land.
