I love airplanes and I love flying. Unfortunatley, because of the current situation I had to cancel all of my trips – the coronavirus grounded all planes and stalled all passenger traffic. So, since I am temporarily unable to fly, in my spare time I browse through the most luxurious aircrafts and I must say it gives me a lot of pleasure. Today I would like to share with you my latest discovery: an extremely luxurious Airbus ACJ320neo owned by the UK charter operator Acropolis Aviation.

If the standard Airbus ACJ320neo was a true breakthrough for the passenger aviation, then the model belonging to the UK charter operator will no doubt set new luxury standards for all private jet companies. The interiors make this plane stand out from its smaller competitors such as Bombardier, Gulfstream or Dassault.

The new Airbus ACJ320neo is not only more economic, more ecological and quieter. In addition, the aircraft belonging to Acropolis Aviation is extremely luxurious. It was delivered back in 2019 but it took as long as 13 month to complete all the fittings in Switzerland. That’s why commercial flights were launched only a few weeks ago.

Yves Pickardt from Alberto Pinto Interior Design was responsible for the project. It is said that while creating it, he was thinking about a very luxurious penthouse: comfortable, spacious and simply beautiful. That’s how he converted a space that usually seats 180 people into a luxury sky hotel that sleeps a maximum of 17 guests.

And what does “luxurious” mean in this case? Well, apart from top-class materials used for fittings, it is also the way in which the space had been arranged – you will find there a master bedroom with the biggest airplane bathroom ever, a cosy but spacious lounge and a fully-fitted kitchen.

Airbus ACJ320neo is a model with a range of 6000 nautical miles – one can charter it and fly from New York to Tokyo, from London to Seattle or from Los Angeles to Auckland.
